Pista Sa Nayon is the largest one-day FREE Filipino event on the West Coast – and is the place to visit in June. Starting with a grand parade, there will be over 100 vendor booths, delicious food, activities for all ages and first-class entertainment. This year’s celebration will feature a distinctively strong Filipino Cultural focus, from beginning to end. We feel that this will be a good promotional venue for your organization and/or business.

Vallejo has been rated as the most diverse city in the United States, according to the New York Times. The city is home to over 120,000 people, including 30,000 Filipino-Americans. Vallejo’s ties to the Philippines date back to 1898, when ships that fought in the Battle of Manila Bay left Mare Island for their long journey across the Pacific Ocean. Since then, Filipinos have come to Vallejo to work, buy homes, raise families and start businesses. Filipinos are a vital economic force in Vallejo with one of the highest household incomes among ethnic groups and a high rate of home ownership. Add to the Vallejo mix the visitors who come to our Pista Sa Nayon from every corner of Northern California, as well as Southern California, you will begin to see the truly dynamic synergy of this exciting event!
