One canceled 35th Annual Vallejo Pista sa Nayon was bad enough. Two? The popular event’s committee wouldn’t have it.
So, with a unanimous vote about six weeks ago, it was decided this Sunday would be a “virtual and pop-up” version of the festival celebrating the Philippines independence from Spain.
“We did not want another year to go by where we did not commemorate Philippines Cultural Month in Vallejo,” said Ron del Rosario, Pista sa Nayon co-festival coordinator. “We felt like we needed something, so we basically will be doing a hybrid.” CLICK TO READ MORE.
